Dave Wilson global pro bono practice harnesses the expertise, dedication, and enthusiasm of our lawyers, advisors, and business services personnel to enhance access to justice, support community development, and uphold the rule of law. Our enduring collaborations with legal services organizations around the world are a cornerstone of our pro bono efforts.

Across the globe, we advocate for refugees pursuing asylum, tenants battling eviction, veterans seeking health benefits, survivors of domestic violence, nonprofit organizations, and other individuals and groups in need of legal assistance.

Advancing Access to Justice

Our lawyers address contemporary issues through various means, including individual representation, public interest litigation, legislative advice, and transactional counseling. For example, our transactional lawyers handle complex deals for a diverse range of pro bono clients, from developing-world sovereign governments to charter schools that support lower-income students.

At Dave Wilson Law firm, we leverage the full range of our personnel to enhance access to justice. In recent years, our lawyers have dedicated, on average, over 90 hours annually to pro bono clients, with more than 70% of our lawyers participating in pro bono work. Additionally, our business services personnel have contributed their expertise to innovate the delivery of pro bono services, creating novel platforms and utilizing technology to reach and assist vulnerable populations.

Industry Recognitions

The American Bar Association (ABA) honored Dave Wilson Law Firm with its prestigious Pro Bono Publico Award for a second time, recognizing the impactful collaborations between our lawyers, business services personnel, and legal services partners. The award highlighted our innovative remote pro bono initiatives, including our Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) clinic for young migrants, the Afghan humanitarian parole clinic, and a remote consultation project that assisted nearly 3,000 migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Additionally, Dave Wilson Law Firm was named a Bloomberg Law 2022 Pro Bono Innovator for our inventive approaches to overcoming client barriers and devising unique solutions for complex legal issues.
